UPES Online (previously UPES CCE- Centre for Continued Education) is the Distance and Online Learning school of UPES. UPES was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. UPES offers industry-focused specialized regular undergraduate and postgraduate courses, some of which cater to high-growth areas like cloud computing, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics engineering, fine arts, big data analytics, public administration, machine design engineering, computer science, petroleum, graphic and gaming and so on. UPES offers fifteen online and distance learning programs under UPES Online, which has been functioning since 2007. It conducts open and distance learning programs as well as online programs. Its programs follows the curriculum and academic processes of any regular program of UPES. UPES Online resonates with the university’s singular purpose , which is to enable each learner to achieve their individual purpose in life, through the guiding light of knowledge. Each one is empowered to pursue dreams and PASSIONS in a meaningful and responsible manner. Each one is encouraged to foster professional development through imagination, innovation, specialized knowledge and critical-thinking.
