Born Norman Junior. But he's well known by his stage name BLAQnormish. He is a Zimbabwean, he grew up in the high destiny suburb of Old Pumula in Bulawayo. He is the one of high rising Artists in Africa, his unique contemporary sound resonates more with his fans because of the song lyrics which are mostly two languages in Afrika, Zulu and English.

BLAQ started his music career at a very tender age while doing primary studies. "it's started as a dream when I was at a young age, I didn't know what was happening because I use to create my own lines dissing my siblings, as I grew up I started creating stories and writing songs although I didn't have time and money to record my stuff like I wasn't interesting in music by then I was interesting in (Art and Drawing),as time goes on when I was doing secondary studies the dream was even growing bigger that's were I figured out about my passion. 2018 I met the guy from my hood named 2_Coe we started doing some of the tracks under our team (west keys) he's a rapper too then he introduced me to Street Manace Studio that's were I learnt a lot of thing about music, that's where I met Cliff Jeans & Fab G mshanakagogo one of the greatest's around Byo. I'm really appreciated them a lot they showed me love, they gave m strength and hope in this Game" he said.
