ANDREW M. COATS HALL Andrew M. Coats Hall is home to the OU College of Law and is located just south of OU’s main campus. This 170,000-square-foot complex houses everything from faculty and administrative offices to classrooms, lounges, and a café.

DICK BELL COURTROOM The 250-seat Dick Bell Courtroom is one of the largest and most technologically advanced courtrooms in the nation. In addition to hosting lectures, symposiums, and moot court competitions, the Bell has been used by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals. With a reconfigurable bench, jury and chamber rooms, closed-circuit cameras, soundproof observation rooms, and multimedia resources, this simulation courtroom provides students a premier place to practice lawyering skills.

CHAPMAN GREAT READING ROOM Within the Donald E. Pray Law Library sits the Chapman Great Reading Room where students can be found studying cases and preparing for class. With its vaulted ceilings, rich wood paneling, and large arched windows, the Chapman is a bright, comfortable, and professional space for the OU Law community.

INASMUCH CLC The Inasmuch Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) adjoins the Chapman Great Reading Room, showing in concert OU Law’s commitment to tradition and innovation. The 8,000-square-foot space cultivates teamwork and features cooperative learning spaces complete with virtual reality stations, multimedia study rooms, collaborative workstations, and modern study carrels. Professors and students also enjoy the flipped classroom and the “genius station” with access to research and IT professionals.

ROBERT S. KERR, JR. STUDENT LOUNGE The Kerr Lounge is always bustling with activity. Students flock here to study, relax, and hang out with friends. In addition to serving as a popular gathering hub, the space is frequently used for lunch-time lectures and special events.

CLASSROOMS High-tech and comfortable classrooms are a staple at OU Law. From lecture halls to intimate seminar rooms to the interactive flipped classroom found in the Inasmuch CLC, there are a myriad of learning environments suited specifically for legal preparation.

MAIN CAMPUS OU Law’s proximity to main campus affords students easy access to all OU has to offer. From learning labs and libraries to fitness facilities and green spaces, there’s no shortage of things to do or places to go at OU.
