The Project Management Fundamentals Certificate program explores the core principles of project management as documented in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®Guide) – Fifth Edition. This program will prepare you to move into a project management role. You will learn the competencies required to move a project through the project life cycle phases of conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing, the principles of project management, quality management, procurement management, dynamic leadership and the best practices used in different industry sectors. This certificate will be of value to those contemplating a career change or new to the project management industry; interested in developing a project management knowledge base; or preparing for the Project Management Institute’ Project Management Professional (PMP)® designation or the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® designation.
REQUIRED COURSES The Project Management Fundamentals Certificate is a 200-hour program. Students are required to take 165 hours of core courses and 35 hours of optional courses and seminars.
