This is no ordinary B&B and Vito, the Grand Sultan of Abali is no ordinary host. There are three classes of room – the Standard (double), Tango Suite and most luxurious of all, Sultan Suite. Every room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and wi-fi, polished cotton sheets and soft towels. The Sultans suite is not surprisingly the most spacious, with frescoed walls, a canopy four poster kingsize bed and windows overlooking the town. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a large shower.
It is in an ideal position and minutes' walk from all the main tourist sights … but the Sultan hopes you will take at least three hours for each and in this time lose yourselves in the beauty of the thousands of hidden corners that Palermo offers to the most attentive travellers. For those with little time, the Central Station is five bus stops away while you can walk to Piazza Politeama in six minutes. Mohanaraja, Butler of the Court, will be at your service for your entire stay and invites you to join the Sultan for breakfast, which is served in the Royal Dining Room.
The Grand Sultanate of Abalì is situated in the historic centre of Palermo, on the corner of Via S. Agostino and Via Maqueda, the main axis of the city.
