Insel Reichenau MUSEUM REICHENAU Das MUSEUM REICHENAU vermittelt in vier Gebäuden die Klostergeschichte, die Baugeschichte der drei romanischen Kirchen und die Bürgergeschichte der Reichenau. Ins Mittelalter abtauchen kann man im größten der neuen Museumsgebäude beim bestehenden Museum im Alten Rathaus. Ein Schwerpunkt ist die Darstellung der Reichenauer Buchmalerei. In a series of four buildings, the REICHENAU MUSEUM presents the history of the abbey, the history of the construction of the three Romanesque churches and the history of Reichenau’s inhabitants. You can plunge into the Middle Ages in the largest of the new museum buildings in the existing museum housed in the Old Town Hall. Particular attention is paid to the presentation of book illumination in Reichenau.
