WFP is the United Nations frontline agency mandated to combat global hunger. World Humanitarian Summit (WHS). The WHS is an initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General. It is the first global summit on humanitarian action of this size and scope, and it will be held in Istanbul on 23 and 24 May 2016. World Health Organization (WHO). WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It provides access to data and analyses for monitoring the global health situation, including through its Global Health Observatory. http://apps.who.int/gho/data/
