Research seminar

MBF admission criteria

In the research seminar, students are requi­ red to write a seminar paper with a research focus and have to present their findings. In combination with the Master’s thesis, the MBF therefore provides a thorough prepa­ ration for a Ph.D.

• A university degree that is recognised as equivalent, in the same or a similar major, with at least 180 ECTS credits • Grade average • Supplementary work may be required • International test (GMAT or GRE) • Proficiency in the English language • Extracurricular activities • Motivation letter

Independent electives Independent electives create additional choices: students may either attend further core electives of the MBF or courses of other Master’s programmes. A third option is to attend courses of the School of Manage­ ment.

Studying internationally MBF students are offered an opportunity to participate in the following double degree and exchange programmes: • CEMS Master’s in International Manage­ ment • Double degree programmes with ESADE, Barcelona, Spain; HEC, Paris, France; RSM Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands; Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan, Italy; and FGVEAESP, São Paulo, Brazil
