I didn’t know they did that at Sheffield… With over 350 academic staff and one of the largest postgraduate research populations in the UK, the Faculty of Social Sciences provides a rich and vibrant research environment. The Interdisciplinary Centre of the Social Sciences (ICoSS) is its ‘centre of centres’, supporting evidence-based interdisciplinary research to inform social policy and critical thinking at regional, national and international levels. Centre for Criminological Research (CCR)

Centre for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (CEES)

Lead: Professor Lenny Koh, Management School We work with colleagues in Engineering and Science to demonstrate the impact and benefits of the University’s environmental research.
