WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY ABOUT
THE ACADEMICS WHO TEACH THEM I’ve enjoyed all of my modules so far, but one that’s stood out most has to be the ‘Could you be an entrepreneur’ module with Professor Gordon Murray. His teaching really inspires everyone and each week I come away completely mind blown by his studies and opinions. We get to develop our skills by having to develop our own business plan and pitch it to a group of investors and experts. I think having this kind of extra element as part of the teaching really adds value to your degree. REBECCA MANDERS, BA ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE WITH EUROPEAN STUDY
The lecturers have a real knack for engaging you in their subjects. Many of them have been out in the field, and you get a real sense of their passion for their subjects.
You can tell that the teaching staff are extremely passionate about their subjects and they all put a huge amount of effort into making our lectures and tutorials as interactive and interesting as possible. GRACE SANTOS-MURPHY, BA ECONOMICS
My Financial Accounting lecturers in particular, David Kolitz, knows the world of accountancy inside out. He has made me realise how the complexities in solving problems can be simplified and carried out with ease. ABRAR AL-QUDDUS, BA ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
The support and relationships with lecturers and even senior members of staff is fantastic here. These relationships make the learning experience much more relaxed and enjoyable.
John Maloney, Simon James and Afshin Shahi have made an impact on me for a number of reasons. Firstly, the knowledge of their respective subject areas. Secondly, their unique styles of lecturing, which are always very entertaining to go to. Lastly, their commitment to you doing well and supporting you through their course.
