Course description

Tutor: Anita Wood

Anita is a primary school teacher and lecturer at the Graduate School of Education. She is experienced at teaching children with English as an additional language. Her areas of interest include drama, children's literature, and education for sustainable development.

A day of drama games, script writing and dramatic fun! Do you love drama and acting?

Does creating new characters and sharing ideas through drama make you feel excited? If so, then we need you for our "playing at drama" day.

During the day we will learn about improvisation and scriptwriting We will visit a treasure island, go on a quest for an ancient chest of gold coins and learn how to write short scripts.

This is a practical and fun day where you can express your inner dramatic self. If you are very confident already then this will be a brilliant day for you. If you like drama, but are a little less confident then don't worry, there will be a role that suits everyone!

Who is this course suitable for?

All abilities are welcome on this inclusive, practical drama workshop.A willingness and enthusiasm to ‘have a go’ and get stuck in would be great!
