Welcome to Hillel

HELLO FRESHMEN! Freshmen Fest is brought to you by UD Hillel, in conjunction with Chabad and the entire UD Jewish community. Freshmen Fest is 1.5 days

of fun and games with other incoming Jewish students. Each year we hear students say that they met their best friends on campus at Freshmen Fest...and all before the first day of classes even began! Our goal is to ensure that you begin your life at UD with an advantage that most other incoming students don’t have. By moving in two days before anyone else, you will get to meet over 200 UD students right from the start. Seeing familiar and friendly faces throughout your first weeks will truly make you feel at home.

udhillel.org/freshmenfest First Year Students at Hillel (FYSH) is a program tailored for Jewish freshmen. Throughout the year students will be able to participate in programming designed just for them. A few examples of past FYSH events are ice cream socials, a cooking class,

and a Yom Kippur break fast. Students can also choose to be a part of the peer mentorship aspect of FYSH. A major benefit of the little FYSH/big FYSH relationship is that you have someone that was a freshmen at UD to ask your questions to, especially the Jewish life on campus questions.
