Transfer students can apply up to one year ahead of the semester they plan to attend Rosen College. Here’s what you need to do:

www.admissions.ucf.edu UCF participates in a unique statewide program for students transferring from a Florida public community college or university.

If You Have • An Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in hospitality management from a Florida community college (A.S. to B.S. track), you’ll need to complete 60 credits. • An Associate in Arts degree from a Florida community college or university in any major, a college-level algebra course is required. Recommended: financial accounting, and micro- or macro-economics before transferring. • Completed 60 or more credits at a private college in Florida or out-of-state college, two English composition courses and two mathematics courses (college-level algebra or higher) are required. Recommended: financial accounting, microor macro-economics, Introduction to Hospitality (if available). • Completed less than 60 credits, your application will be evaluated based upon your high school and college work. Recommended: two courses in English composition, two courses in mathematics (college-level algebra or higher) and Introduction to Hospitality (if available).

Requirements • All transfer applicants must be in good academic standing to be considered for admission. Requirements include a minimum 2.5 overall GPA, a minimum 2.0 GPA at the last institution attended, and two years of a foreign language from high school or eight semester hours of college-level foreign language. • Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. The overall academic GPA will be recalculated by UCF on all transfer course work. In calculating this GPA, UCF recognizes a plus/minus grading system. Grade forgiveness is honored only if it has been awarded as part of an A.A. degree (or recognized A.S. degree program) from a Florida public community college or university. • Transfer applicants with fewer than 60 college credit hours must also submit official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores and all college transcripts.

• Indicate your intended major as Event Management, Hospitality Management, or Restaurant and Foodservice Management. • Send official transcripts from all colleges attended to: UCF Undergraduate Admissions P.O. Box 160111 Orlando, FL 32816-0111 • Submit your SAT or ACT scores to UCF if you have not completed 60 credit hours—UCF’s SAT code is 5233 and ACT code is 0735. • If you are an international student, include TOEFL exam results and transcript evaluations for all international course work—visit the international students page at www.admissions.ucf.edu, or check with the Rosen College admissions office to be sure.

Financial Assistance UCF students are awarded more than $200 million in financial assistance every year. For the most up-to-date information on tuition and fees, visit www.finaid.ucf.edu . The university awards more than $5 million every year to new students from across the nation, $260,000 of which are awarded to Rosen College students. As many as 2,500 freshman and transfer students obtain merit-based awards and, in addition, UCF administers hundreds of scholarships initiated by individuals and organizations.
