Stop Smashing the Snooze

When that blaring radar alarm jolts us up in the morning, it can be our first instinct to hit the snooze button. Choosing to snooze can disrupt your overall sleep cycle. Try to avoid slamming that button. Instead, charge your phone across your room so you have to get up when your alarm goes off. It might be difficult at first, but soon it will become second nature!

Schedule Your Sleep

It may seem like a no brainer, but keeping a solid nighttime regimen will make your morning flow much smoother! Plan out your dinner, homework, and social schedule ahead of time so you can remain on track. You’ll wake up feeling rested and rejuvenated!

Breakfast of Champions

It’s tempting to grab an energy bar on our way out the door, but a well-balanced breakfast in the morning is a sure way to get us through that mid-morning slump. Something simple like oatmeal topped with fresh fruit or a veggie omelette will give you the energy you need to crush the day! Add some coffee or tea for the perfect morning pick-me-up.

Self Care for the Soul

Make your morning a personal ritual. An early wake-up call gives you time to focus on yourself and the time for a complete skincare routine, meditating, or journaling. A little self care in your morning routine can start your day with positivity!

Morning Motivation

What do you look forward to? Whether it’s a hot shower, cup of coffee, or face mask, plan your morning routine with something that makes you happy. Even a small incentive makes the morning wake up call a bit less dreadful.

Let It Shine

Leave your curtains open and wake up with the sunshine! If the weather is dreary outside, turn on your lights to snap out of that groggy haze.
