Somerset County Public School Art Teacher, Scott Smith, is joined by students who participated in the 2021 Lower Shore Addiction Awareness Visual Arts Competition. UWLES is honored to work with community advocates and partners on the Lower Shore Black Professionals Alliance to advance diversity in civic and nonprofit service and leadership.

Women United created literacy kits to distribute through the Judy Centers on the Lower Shore. Local organizations can offer Pepsi vending machines, where portions of the proceeds benefit UWLES.
Throughout the pandemic, UWLES participated in One Stop Shop events with other community partners.



Chesapeake Utilities collected breakfast items to donate to the Community Emergency Shelter Project. Salisbury University’s Student United Way partnered with Lower Shore Enterprises for a Shred Day at Red Square on SU’s campus.
