The film is the adaptation of ‘The Nutcrackers’ and ‘The Nutcrackers and The Mouse King’. The film takes its audience to a fantasy world, like the one that they only experience in the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ novels. The directors deserve a special appreciation for the beautiful way they portray each and every scene. Mackenzie Foy, Keira Knightley, Eugenio Derbez, Misty Copeland and Morgan Freeman are the prime actors of the movie.

The central character of the movie is an American submarine captain Joe Glass. In this film, the lead character is on a historic mission to stop the occurrence of third world war. It is its action sequences that make this move special and attractive. Gerald Butler appears in the prime role as the man on the risky mission. Apart from Butler, Gary Oldman, Michael Nyqvist, Linda Cardellini and Common act in the lead roles.
