It is the adaptation of a renowned book published in the same name in the year 2013. The writer of the book, Jason Matthews, is a former Central Intelligence Agency agent. Jennifer Lawrence appears in the lead role in the film as Dominika Egorovo. Apart from Ms Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Jeremy Irons and Joely Richardson act in the important roles. A critic claims that the film has successfully included even the minute details of the elusive spy profession.
