GMC sixth-graders visit Stone Mountain Park
Sixth-grade students at Georgia Military College went on a field trip to Stone Mountain. They learned about the history of Stone Mountain with hands on activities that included a hike up the mountain. This was part of their geology unit they studied earlier this year. After the hike, they enjoyed a picnic lunch on the mountain before they climbed back down.
