Both women play for the New York Riveters, Ashley on defense and Shenae in goal. The story focused the senior thesis she wrote at Union about homelessness and her work with this vulnerable population in her hometown of Pittsfield, Mass. At the time the article was written, Lindsey was employed by the Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

The work of Teddy Benfield and John Hai Famulare was recently featured in the Washington Art Association’s annual “Young Talent” exhibition. A painter from Mystic, Conn., Teddy’s heavy impasto borrows from Post-Expressionist painting. John, from Little Falls, N.Y., has exhibited his portraits throughout New York State.
