To be career-ready, it’s important you learn about your chosen profession in the right environment. We value a hands-on approach to study. You’ll learn in a purpose-built learning environment and undertake practical work in specialist laboratories on campus. As well as using industry-standard software and equipment, and learning through projects, there are opportunities for work experience as part of your course.

Fieldwork

Many of our courses offer exciting fieldwork opportunities, bringing to life what you learn in the classroom. As well as making use of the varied habitats on our doorstep, you may travel much further afield. In recent years, locations have included Honduras, South Africa, Mexico and, more locally, the Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire National Parks.
