Our graduates have skills that employers look for and can demonstrate these through their innovative portfolios and performances. All students learn through a mixture of live competitions, projects and briefs, and are encouraged to undertake work experience as part of their course.

Our studios are designed to emulate what happens in the industry, and you’ll work with students from other courses for an inter-disciplinary experience that mirrors real life. For technical skills, there’s a multicamera HD TV studio and radio studios, a theatre, dance studios, rehearsal spaces, and nine music recording studios – all on campus.

Our campus is in the heart of Cardiff ’s creative industry and we see the city as our wider campus. This city centre location and our excellent links with industry provide an ideal launchpad for your career. Well known as a city of culture and entertainment, the opportunities for media and performance students in Cardiff are endless. Cardiff was recently named the UK’s first Music City and it’s a key location for media in the UK, with major outlets in easy reach of campus, including the BBC.
