What to do before you arrive

WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOU ARRIVE Your first week at the University of Bedfordshire will be packed full of academic and social events as part of your Welcome 2016 schedule. Before you arrive, you will receive information about the University’s services, your course, and your pre-arrival buddy. Find ‘Your Welcome 2016’ details at: www.beds.ac.uk/welcome2016 plus other useful information about the units you may study, and more. You will be sent a letter with your full welcome 2016 scheduled sessions and information about how to register online. It is important that you attend all of the scheduled sessions, to support you with integration onto your course and into university life. You will receive a joining instruction email from the University containing important links to all the information you will need. Before you arrive, you will also be allocated a pre-arrival buddy to help you through your first week at the University. Your buddy will be a current student who will give you individual support and be available to meet up in your first week. If you have not been contacted by a buddy by 2 September, please visit: unibeds.info/welcome-buddy
