The School Campus
Nestled in the Garhwal region of Uttrakhand with serene hills in the backdrop, the 50 acre campus has perfect environment to nurture and develop a child.
The academic block named after Nalanda, has four blocks: Languages, Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences. The classrooms are spacious, ergonomically designed and equipped with the latest technological teaching aids. The rest of the campus includes Takshila - the Digital Resource Center (a combination of a literary and digital library). Vishwangan – the main football field and the flag pole base. A common dining room, separate residential blocks for boys, girls and faculty. The school campus has 2 Football fields, 2 Basketball courts, a Swimming pool, 1 Hockey field, 1 Cricket field with 5 practice nets and 2 international standard synthetic Tennis courts. The well-being of the student is facilitated by a modern and automated laundy area, a Tuck shop and an Infirmary. The campus is Wifi enabled and has LAN network to facilitate all residents of the campus.
Academics
We are a CBSE School. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, which is the Worlds’ largest School System with over 13, 000 affiliated schools. Highly qualified and experienced teachers engage the students with their subjects and with the help of technological teaching aids, impart the students with knowledge about the subject and even beyond.
Resonance Gurukul
The Academic Programme
The uniqueness of the school comes through the specially designed Resonance Gurukul Programme, which specifically caters to those students whose goal is to crack the engineering and medical entrance exams. Resonance, in partnership with SelaQui International School, is offering the Resonance Gurukul, a programme for those students who aspire to crack the engineering and medical entrance exams. This course synchronizes the preparation for competitive exams such as IIT-JEE/AIEEE and NEET/AIPMT etc. and formal school education/Board Exams under one roof.
This program, developed by SelaQui in Academic partnership with Resonance is a revolutionary approach for competitive exam preparation, which surpasses all the known formats of coaching. The main advantage of this course is that it combines preparation for multiple exams. With the teachers living on campus, the student save time from travelling and have full access to teachers in clearing all doubts and problems. This approach enables a stress free learning environment and a dual advantage for students enabling them to excel in competitive exams and produce best results in the school/board exams.
CCU (CLAT, CPT & UGAT)
For students of Commerce and Humanities seeking a future in Law, Chartered Accountancy and Business Administration, the school offers, under the
Gurukul Programme specialized coaching for entrance exams like the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) for Chartered Accountancy programmes, CLAT (Common
Law Aptitude Test) for BA, LLB in India’s leading institutions and UGAT (Undergraduate Aptitude Test) for admission to premium BBA programmes.
Students enrolled for Gurukul and other academic programmes are also prepared for appearing in the following competitions and Exams:
KVPY – The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national programme of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, funded by the Government of India to attract exceptionally talented and motivated student from class X for pursuing science courses and careers in research. NTSE – National Talent Search Exam is conducted by the NCERT to award candidates of class X for pursuing courses in sciences and social sciences up to the doctoral level and in professional courses. TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language is a test of an individual’s ability to use and understand English in an academic setting. It has become an admission requirement for non-native English speakers at most universities abroad. SAT – The Scholastic Aptitude Test is conducted by the College Board, USA to assess the student’s capabilities for admission in universities in the US.
Sport
Sport is integral to life at SelaQui. Every SeQuin is encouraged to learn a sport, not only for the sake of competition but mainly for building character, team spirit and physical fitness.
Adventure sports like River Rafting, Trekking and Mountaineering are also part of the sports curriculum. Students are taken to various sites during field trips.
ARJUNA
The school has a special programme – ARJUNA, designed specifically to cater to those students who aspire a career in sport. ARJUNA programme offers three areas for specialization – Tennis, Cricket and Football. Each sport is supervised and supported by trained coaches and a Board of Advisors, consisting of eminent achievers in the relevant sport. Gyms, physiotherapy facility, rich balanced diet and an on-campus medical facility are available to the student.
The programme structure allows the student to maintain their academics while competing at the state/national/international level.

Activities in school are meant to nurture and pursue the student’s talent in areas outside academia. The school has a wide range of activities for students to pick from, ranging from the music club where student’s that are musically inclined are encouraged to pursue their interests to the Model United Nation Club, where student are trained in diplomacy and mock UN nation.
The school also has the International Award for Young People (IAYP) programme under the Duke of Edinburgh International Award where student are to complete a required number of hours developing their skills in their chosen activity, in social service and in a trek. This international award aims to mould a student into an all-round citizen of the global community.
Pastoral Care
Agni | Akash | Jal | Prithvi The pastoral life in the school is based on the house system. Every student is assigned to a house and each house has its own independent hostel supervised by a House Master and Resident Tutors.
Every student is assigned a Tutor and the Tutor monitors and guides the tutorial groups at regular intervals. Tutorial meetings are convened to address the concerns and challenges of each student and to initiate strategies to help them.
The concept of school houses is an integral part of SelaQui life to create a sense of belonging for the holistic Students are regularly guided in the fields of discipline, development of each student. Akin to the four elements punctuality, mutual assistance, proper attire, code of of nature that sustain life, the four Houses at SelaQui conduct and adherence to school rules. International School are named : Agni, Akash, Jal, & Prithvi.
