Focus On Photography We have an abundance of photographic talent here at TAAS Gallery. Most recently, a most impressive collection of images to grace the walls of TAAS are from Susan Stanton who has an eye for elegance, craftsmanship of lighting and her artistic capture of subjects that are amazing. Susan is a true artist of the lens as she captures images that tell a story and forever preserve that time forever. Susan has a full collection of wonderful greeting cards that will enhance any message with meaning and authenticity.
Cecilia Gilliam captures her subjects, has them printed on canvas then hand paints over them adding texture and depth to her work. Our most successful photographer to date, Cecilia has sold many original pieces, each one with it own one-of-a-kind touch.
Nanci Gregory has a love of getting out on the trail and hiking with her family, a mother of six. Nanci particularly enjoys photographing our mountain landscapes, forest pathways and waterfalls in the area. Nanci is also a writer for a column in her local news paper on hiking and trails. All of her works are pleasing to the eye, affordable for anyone and will provide you with a memento of the outdoors in WNC. Jenean Stone learned her craft from working along side her husband John Fulton, who was an artist and photographer, in 1956. They worked together until John’s death in 1991, and since then she has continued photography. An interest in nature, travel and people has given her a chance to develop her own style of photography and reveal her good sense of humor and appreciation for nature and people.
Dennis Finley Knows how to capture the moment with his camera. Prints from Dennis are all framed up and ready for your home or office wall. His images are of waterfalls, nature, flowers and wildlife in the area. Folks that travel here from other places are always pleased to take some of this areas natural beauty captured by Dennis home with them.
