Joana MT STd Joanna was designed by Eric Gill in 1930, based on type originally cut by Granjon, and released by the Monotype Corporation in 1937. He created the typeface for the printing firm of Hague and Gill, which he formed to give his idle son in law an occupation, and named the design for his daughter. Only the Caslon foundry cut it for hand composition. It is, as Gill himself described it, “a book face free from all fancy business,� with small, straight serifs and a spare elegance that makes it notably attractive and distinguished.

1. Create the so called skeleton, it should show the base line of the letter and determines its later appearance.
2. Use of costumized brushes that can vary in thickness and thinness. They give the letter its final shape.
3. Now you can visually work on the
letter with selfmade Serifs the appearance can be changed considerably.
4. My font derives its name from the
Spanish word sister = Hermana and its source font Merlo.

Sein Blick ist vom Vorübergehn der Stäbe so müd geworden, dass er nichts mehr hält. Ihm ist, als ob es tausend Stäbe gäbe und hinter tausend Stäben keine Welt. Der weiche Gang geschmeidig starker Schritte, der sich im allerkleinsten Kreise dreht, ist wie ein Tanz von Kraft um eine Mitte, in der betäubt ein grosser Wille steht. Nur manchmal schiebt der Vorhang der Pupille sich lautlos auf -. Dann geht ein Bild hinein, geht durch der Glieder angespannte Stille und hört im Herzen auf zu sein. 11pt/13,5pt
Die Kenntnisse über Verhalten und Lebensweise des Jaguars sind unvollständig. Sie basieren vorwiegend auf mit Sendehalsbändern versehenen Exemplaren oder direkten Beobachtungen. Die Schwierigkeit besteht insgesamt darin, dass Jaguare schwer zu fangen sind, um sie mit Sendehalsbändern zu versehen, und die Grosskatze zudem sehr zurückgezogen lebt. Sie sind Einzelgänger, die in Abhängigkeit von möglicher Beute feste Reviere von mindestens 25 bis 150 Quadratkilometern beanspruchen. Es gibt aber auch Berichte über Reviere von 15 bis 800 Quadratkilometern. Die Territorien der Männchen überlappen mit denen von Weibchen. Allerdings kann dies auch bei männlichen Tieren der Fall sein, die sich aber in der Regel rechtzeitig aus dem Weg gehen, bevor es zu ernsthaften Revierstreitigkeiten kommt. Die Reviere werden, wie bei anderen Grosskatzen auch, durch Urin oder Kratzspuren an Bäumen gekennzeichnet.
