Together they make up the Gender Practice Team of UNDP’s Bratislava Regional Centre (BRC). The report was initially conceived by Barbara Limanowska, who served as Gender Practice Manager from 2007-2008. Klelija Balta of UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinated the initial project phase. Wendy Harcourt researched and wrote major sections of the publication.

Peter Serenyi served as language editor. Winnie Byanyima, Director, UNDP Gender Team, and Jens Wandel, RBEC Deputy Regional Bureau Director and Bratislava Regional Centre Director, provided guidance and support throughout the process.
