Brothers Garrett ‘87 and Ivey Williamson ‘84 will once again be representing the United States at the ITU World Championships in London, England. This is the second time both of the brothers have qualified for TEAM USA and their second sport. In 2011, Garrett and Ivey competed for the United States in the sprint triathlon world championships held in Beijing, China. This year they have both qualified in the Aquathlon (1000meter swim/5krun) to represent the US on the 2012 Olympic course at the 2013 World Championships in September. Garrett will be competing in his 4th world championship competition for TEAM USA after racing in both the sprint triathlon and aquathlon as the only dual qualifier in his division last year in Auckland, New Zealand. years of service. Bradley Byrne ’73 announced his candidacy for Alabama First Congressional District on June 4, 2013. Ames Filippini Yokel ‘73 has retired from teaching kindergarten after 26 years. Now that her teaching career is over, she is looking forward to what God has planned for her next. She
is enjoying her two grandsons who live in Pensacola (Andrew, 3 and August Bruno, 4 months old) and other grandchildren who live outside of Baltimore (Joseph, 12, Sammy, 9, and Ella, 7).

Stella Windham Martin ‘74 lives in Point Clear and teaches at Foley High School. She is excited about her grandson due in October to Casey and Robert Yarbrough.

Ainsley McNeely ‘78 won a merit award in the Alabama Flora & Fauna Art Competition, and she will have a show at the Mobile Art Council in November. Bobby Hall ’78 was elected to the University of South Alabama Foundation Board of Directors.
David Greene ‘85 met Hunter Ridgeway ‘80 while visiting Washington DC for a speaking engagement he had with a trial lawyers’ group in April. Ridgeway serves as Chief of Staff to Congressman Cartwright.
