The University of Louisiana at Monroe has a history almost as rich and beautiful as the bayou that winds through its 238-acre campus. From its inception, it was constructed with one goal in mind – to serve the educational needs and desires of the people of northeast Louisiana. To that end, ULM has served the region exceptionally well for more than 80 years, and is positioned to continue a strong tradition of excellence far into the future.
