From our extraordinary campus and facilities, to student supports, academic programs, small class sizes and beyond, students are central to all we do at uLethbridge. We will assist your transition to university with events like Ahead of the Herd and New Student Orientation. Most importantly, we’ll continue to support you throughout your time at uLethbridge.

“We bring in speakers and host workshops with people from different industries. Students also get practical experience by entering competitions such as the Chinook Entrepreneur Challenge as a club,” says Doyin.

riginally from Calgary, Doyin O Adepoju chose uLethbridge because he was struck by our community of support when visiting his sister. “uLethbridge is unlike any other university; there is a stronger sense of community here because of the friendships you build and the professors you meet. I knew it would be a great experience.”

Although his role as president of the AN$ Entrepreneurship Club and a challenging course load keeps Doyin on his toes, he is also an accomplished sprinter on the Pronghorns Track and Field team.

Doyin was studying computer science when he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. He added a second degree in general management to gain a broadbased understanding of business. Eager to apply this knowledge and to make the most of his campus connections, Doyin started an entrepreneur club. He chose the name AN$ (Abs and Money) Entrepreneurship Club because he believes an entrepreneur must be mentally, physically and financially fit to maintain the drive necessary to start a business. The club is open to students in all programs and its goal is to teach students entrepreneurial skills, assist them in developing a network of connections and prepare them for life as entrepreneurs post-graduation.

“I wanted to start a club that’s truly about making a difference in people’s lives. It’s not just for University students, people in the community are welcome to join and participate as well. We have more than 300 members, pushing themselves and going further than they ever thought possible.” Doyin Adepoju (photo: right)
