Lot 138 A collection of thirty six Cantonese mother of pearl gaming counters mid. 19th century, in the form of exquisitely carved fish in three different sizes, the twelve largest realistically carved with scales and a circular design of love birds to one side and a flower head to the opposing side, 3in (7½cm) wide, twelve similar with love birds to one side, 2¼in (5½cm) wide and twelve smaller with love birds to one side 1¾in (4½cm) wide (36). £50-70 See Illustration.
