For as long as people have existed, they have been telling stories to each other. Stories about how the earth and heavens came to be, where people come from and why animals are like this or that. Many of those myths and folktales involve metamorphosis.

In this book Sassafras De Bruyn shares stories about the most extraordinary transformations from all over the world. Her illustrations bring them to life.

Sassafras De Bruyn studied graphic design at the Sint Lucas School of Arts. As illustrator and graphic designer she is part of a well-known Youth Theatre in Belgium. Besides that she illustrates for various projects and works as a freelancer.
