Vanessa Verstappen is known for her beautiful wood etchings. Her debut was awarded a Zilveren Penseel. Her work is powerful yet also tender, imaginative yet also touchingly recognizable. She is missed. She passed away in 2020. Toon Tellegen is author and poet, mainly known for his animal stories about the ant and the squirrel. These stories are also read and beloved by adults.
