position. He is also one of the best punters in the Korthwest. Banks was named for All-Northwest guar d, and received strong support in the election of captain for next season. He will be one of Idaho's best in 1913.
J ohn P h il lips , Tac k l e. "Buck" Is a heavy man, with lots of !ltrength. He Jllays his position well, be路 ing a valuable man on both offense and defense. He is also one of the best Jllllllers in the :-\orthwesL "Buck" is only a Sophomore and will wear the red Jersey for a couple of years more.

"Sammy" is one or the hardest tacklers on the team. He Is strong on br eaking interference and getting down under punts. With him on the r eceiving end, lhe forwa r d pass always looks good for a big gain.
