Board of Directors
The Board of Directors represents all spectrum of cancer control. All Board members serve in their own personal capacity and not as representatives of their respective organisations or countries. They are elected for a period of two years. The current Board was elected in October 2020 by the General Assembly.
The Board of Directors governs UICC in accordance with the mandate given to it by the General Assembly and it is empowered to provide leadership and strategic direction for all UICC activities. The Board is composed of 16 outstanding and committed individuals. In 2021, the Board of Directors held all meetings virtually: three ordinary meetings (January, May and October) in addition to a special session in August 2021.
