These techniques are designed and developed as solutions to some common types of crimes by manipulating the environment in temporary or permanent ways to reduce the crime opportunities for potential offenders (Bullock, Clarke and Tilley, 2010). Following is a table of commonly used situational crime prevention techniques made by Karen Bullock, Ronald V. Clarke and Nick Tilley (2010).
