Some work on the above has already commenced though it was deemed wise to await the General Assembly’s decision with respect to the Report before expending overmuch time and energy on supporting material. Whatever the outcome of the General Assembly’s deliberations, members of the Panel on Doctrine have found their investigation into the topic of baptism, over five years, to be a challenging and enriching experience. We are grateful to the General Assembly for the opportunity to engage in this exercise.
