Hi I’m Beth and I’m your Women’s Officer for 2015/16. I’m a third year Education student and passionate about improving the university experience for women-identifying students. This booklet contains details of all the key support services on campus, so if you need them you know where to go and when. The information is arranged under different types of support, with a list of locations and contact details for services on the last page. As Women’s Officer I work for the union and am here to support and represent all women-identifying students. If you have a problem then I want to know, you can email me at union.womens@uea.ac.uk. I want to hear about your experience of being a woman at UEA, come along to my caucus! Our liberation caucuses are spaces where anyone who self-defines into any of the groups is welcome to come along and suggest things that they think would improve UEASU, UEA or the

jo swo welfare, community and diversity officer

Hello Fresher Females! Fresher felines? Turns out it’s difficult to make an alliteration when there are only a few ways of saying women that begin with f (fomen?). Anyway. I’m your Welfare, Community and Diversity Officer! My job is to make sure all your needs are equally represented and that our services are accessible to everyone. So, if you ever feel stuck or you want to talk to someone, look for me on campus or come up to the main Student Union office above the Hive and I can help! I used to study History and spend way too much time playing with glitter and scrolling through Tumblr.
