USEFUL INFORMATION What to Bring to the UK Packing for a long period away from home can be difficult so here are some tips on what you might need. In your hand luggage: - Any valuables - A small amount of British Pounds in cash - All necessary documents for immigration - A change of clothes and essential toiletries (in case of lost luggage) - Any medication required, to cover at least one to two months.
In your hold luggage: - Towel - Alarm clock (battery powered) - Essential toiletries - Medication. Things you can buy in the UK: - Pillow(s) and bedding - Pans and other kitchen items - Cutlery, cups, plates and bowls - Extra clothes - Electric appliances, such as an iron or hair dryer.
