Events hosted on the UCO campus will have no shortage of spaces and amenities to meet their needs, as the campus boasts a classical ballroom, a modern food-hall style dining venue, a variety of modest meeting rooms across campus, as well as a full-service print and mail shop, bank and bookstore.

TH E GRAND BA LLR OOM The largest and most versatile space in the Nigh University Center is the Grand Ballroom. As one of the largest ballrooms in the Oklahoma City metro area, it is an ideal location for formal events with its soaring ceilings, stunning chandeliers and classic wood paneling. Constitution Hall is an impressive auditorium that has played host to a number of impressive guests ranging from Pulitzer Prize winners to Grammy Award winners. Featuring stacked seating with folding tablet desks, this space is ideal for anything from presentations to performances and everything in between.

Premium rooms are located throughout the Nigh University Center and feature updated design elements. Named after prestigious Oklahomans, past and present, these rooms provide an elevated experience for luncheons and special occasions.

Standard room options are located throughout the Nigh University Center on the second, third, and fourth floors. These modest rooms are excellent for a distraction-free meeting or breakout session, as part of a larger conference or camp.

C O -O P CO-OP Esports and Gaming Arena is a 5,700-square-foot arena dedicated to the growing gaming community at UCO and the OKC Metro area. Equipped with 48 custom PCs, two virtual reality booths, a variety of gaming consoles and a growing library of tabletop games, the arena is designed as a holistic gaming experience for enthusiasts at every level. The arena houses seating for more than 75 spectators; a stage with state-of-the-art lighting, a sound system and a large video wall; and, a special catering menu, designed around gamers’ tastes, bringing the experience full circle. WELLNESS CENTER

Located on the banks of beautiful Lake Arcadia, the Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center provides guests an opportunity to explore the natural environments found in the metro area with access to beaches and hiking and biking trails. The OAR is equipped with a zip line, mountain bikes, paddle boards, and single and tandem kayaks, plus outdoor seating areas and an indoor conference room. The OAR Challenge Course also is available for team-building activities and leadership training, with a coordinator on hand to tailor the course to the needs of the group.

The Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with cardio equipment, free weights and strength equipment, as well as an indoor running track, basketball courts and a rock wall. The professional staff at the Wellness Center provide a variety of health and wellness programs and manage the on-campus physician’s office in partnership with OU Physicians.

Central’s team of culinary experts can accommodate for any group size, theme or individual guest requirement, with a customizable range of options, from boxed lunches to themed buffets and elegant, served meals. Optional alcohol service is available at limited locations around campus. Throughout your event, teams of servers will be on hand to provide superior catering service, from beginning to end.

Guests will find an abundance of dining options conveniently scattered across campus. Ranging from popular chains – such as Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A – to campus originals like 1890 Metropolitan Café, Sidelines Sports Grill and the all-youcare-to-eat dining hall Ayers Kitchen, there is something to suit every taste available in easy walking distance.

Ayers Kitchen is a modern dining hall with 13 different serving stations, each with varying menus. The hall features standard offerings, like pizza, hamburgers and sandwiches, alongside madeto-order salads and rotating homestyle and global entrees, ensuring there’s something for everyone each visit.

The Food Court, located in the Nigh University Center, is home to ChickFil-A, made-to-order taco and sandwich locations – Tu Taco and Second Street Subs – and Flatire Burgers, a local burger favorite. Rounding out the offerings is Sushi with Gusto, which prepares a range of fresh sushi favorites daily.

Guests can discover unique dining locations in all corners of campus. Pegasus Café, featuring a menu of espressos and smoothies, is located in the Liberal Arts building. After experiencing the dedicated staff and quality on-campus facilities, summer camp groups return to Central year after year. Each tailored camp experience utilizes the full extent of the university’s services, including meeting spaces, recreational areas, housing options and specialty catering and dining. For the larger spaces and more unique event types typical of summer camps, the university’s expert multimedia services team is available to craft custom solutions according to each event’s needs.

The 90,000-square-foot field house hosts several large-scale events throughout the year, including commencement ceremonies, homecoming events and national speakers, and also serves as the home for Central’s basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams. As the largest event space on campus, Hamilton Field House can be equipped with staging and audio-visual capabilities for events as large as 3,000 people, including a seating arrangement for up to 1,400 on the ground floor.

No campus is complete without an array of outdoor spaces to allow for meetings and relaxation. Multiple large open fields exist on UCO’s campus and can be booked for outdoor activities like field days, outdoor movies and more. Capable of being outfitted with staging and audio-visual capabilities, outdoor fields and amphitheaters provide a stimulating alternative location for breakout sessions and events. 11
