One of the primary agendas needs to be engaging civil society and the city agenda in climaterelated issues, and getting the scientific community to bring their peer-reviewed evidence to truly influence the global decision makers. The climate agenda is still tentative with regard to its implementation process, but in preparation for 2018 and moving forward, establishing synergies and vertical integration will be the primary goal.
