Moreover, in the historic center, with 13,500 residents living in a space of 166 hectares, the city will create a balance between the competing building usages, as well as allocating an equal amount of residential areas for public and green spaces. Political will is also highlighted as being key here. To facilitate pressing matters, strong political will to drive the project and to gather the public’s opinion is needed. In this regard, it is the mayor who should take an action to motivate urban renewal.
