REPRESENTATION To promote local and regional selfgovernment as well as other shared values around the world, and increase their influence on global governance and policymaking at all levels in issues of interest.
INTELLIGENCE To gather, analyse and share knowhow and information at the service of members and stakeholders.
COOPERATION To promote decentralized cooperation and international cooperation between local governments and their associations; to promote peer to peer ties as a means for mutual learning, solidarity and friendship between people and help mobilizing resources for cooperation.
