For the Easter holidays the Grant Museum is exploring the wonderful world of eggy Grant Museum of Zoology animals. From penguins to platypuses, sharks to snails and bullfrogs to butterflies, our fantastic specimen-based activities will investigate the best shells and spawn. The Hargreaves Review bemoaned the prevalence of ‘lobbynomics’ and the tendency of policy-driven evidence-making, instead of evidence-driven policy-making. Professor Hargreaves also noted that these problems were long-standing, dating back to the Banks Review in the 1970s and the Gowers Review in 2006. When politicians talk about being leaders, what does it mean to lead when policy is not based on evidence? Who is leading whom?
