JM Gibis
Ms. Gibis is a Project Management Office (PMO) leader with 25 years of experience leading and consulting organizations in project, program, and portfolio management. For the last 10 years, she has worked for NBCUniversal and currently holds the position of Sr. Director, PMO, Technical Operations. JM has also held positions as a Vice-President at Grindr, Director at Lunchbox (now Mirum Shopper), and Senior Manager at First American Corporation, Pcubed, and Publicis Sapient, all within the projectmanagement discipline. Ms. Gibis has been teaching Fundamentals of Project Management, a required course towards the Project Management Certificate, since March 2020. She has served as an advisory board member for UCLA Continuing Education since 2013 and an Associates Board Member at City Year Los Angeles (AmeriCorps) since 2021. Ms. Gibis was the President of the Project Management Institute, Los Angeles Chapter in 2009. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Rhode Island and holds Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®, and California Real Estate Salesperson certifications.
