LexLab Demo Day & Pitch Competition

On April 20, 2023, LexLab hosted its annual Demo Day and Pitch Competition. For their final presentation, students from our "Building a Legal Tech Startup" course pitched the business ideas they developed over the course of the semester. Ale Vallejo '23 won first place with her pitch for Blazer, an artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced service that rents professional attire to subscribing law students and young lawyers

The six startups in the accelerator then presented demonstartions of their products The $5,000 grand prize was split by Aurelian, which democratizes litigation funding in the pursuit of consumer protection, and the Legal Accountability Project, which enables law students to read post-clerkship surveys and get information on judges as managers and chambers culture before applying for clerkships.
