We were building our water tanks and despite being extremely hot, the masons and laborers were working continuously while I was wondering what was making them work in such unfavorable weather. My thinking led me to the conclusion that actually they have a firm belief to get their wages in the evening and that belief is making them work even in the severe heat of subcontinent summer but if they are told that they will not be paid anything at the end of the day, would they still bother to work? Absolutely not! The wages in the evening make the builders work all day in the sweltering heat. A person strives to earn his wages in extreme heat, rain and storms but he does not care for anything just because he believes that he will be paid off his hard work as we see just the apparent. Similarly if we know the virtue of our deeds that our deeds will lead us to betterment then we will perform it with full devotion and our deeds will have a forceful effect.

He said,’ I had listened the virtues of Surah Al-Ikhlas and was so impressed of it.’ He said, ‘The virtues of anything make a person keen about it, though they are about this mortal world or the eternal hereafter.’ These Godly people would reveal the virtues of deeds and they do so now as well. The Quran teaches us to ask for the worldly benefits as well as seek the best in the hereafter as well َ َ َ َ َ َ ً َ َ َ َ ٓ ْ ْ َ ً َ َ َ َ ْ ُّ ْ َ ٰ َ َ َ ْ ‫الن‬ )‫ار (البقرہ‬ ‫ ربنا اتِنا ِِف الدنیا حسنۃ و ِِف اْلخِرۃ ِحسنۃ وقِنا عذاب‬so these Godly people would teach the benefits

The Pleasure of Sahaba and Ahl-e-Bayt)‫ رضی ہللا عنہم اجمعین‬: When we learn the virtues of deeds and the consequential benefits, then that enhances the pleasure of doing them as well. That was the reason that upon receiving the command of obligatory prayers, the Sahaba and Ahle-e-Bayt (May Allah be pleased with them all) were so happy and enthused that they would be able to speak to Allah though this blessed practice. It had become their firm belief that through prayers, they would be able to see their Lord and have a www.ubqari.org facebook.com/ubqari twitter.com/ubqari
