When using the shutter/blind pushbutton (5TA2 114), the shutter/blind can be manually moved to the required position (UP/DOWN or STEP command). The number of connectable conventional extension units is unlimited.
Together with the UP 211 wave shutter/blind pushbutton inserts, the sys shutter/blind control insert $ is implemented as a central operating point. The inserts % and & individually control the respective shutter/blind motors M (( and )). The time values stored in the UP 211 wave shutter/blind pushbutton (e.g. 8:00 UP and 20:00 DOWN command) allow the timecontrolled stopping and starting of all connected motors. Caution: • It is not permissible to use a shutter/blind control sys insert as the central operating point and directly operate a shutter/blind motor. • When protecting the central operating point against short circuit using a separate residual current operated circuit breaker, both circuits must be isolated in order to prevent inadvertent tripping of the circuit breaker. Example 3: Integrating a wind alarm The indicator for the wind alarm is integrated in the shutter/blind control over the extension unit input. In the event of a wind alarm, the shutters/blinds are raised and locked in that position until the wind alarm is reset over the indicator. As long as the interlock is enabled, neither manual nor automatic operation of the shutters/ blinds is possible.
