UA HAS

The Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences is a newly merged and dynamic academic department at the University of Arizona. Our research and teaching portfolio reflects a new paradigm of integrated atmospheric and hydrologic science. Our vision is to develop the knowledge needed to solve Earth's water, hydrogeologic, weather, and climate related problems. We embrace the need for both regional and global perspectives in climate change, water resources, and other environmental issues that affect society.
