GUARANTEE & LIABILITY Goods supplied by U Group are guaranteed in accordance with the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty provided with goods or for 1 year if not stated with the goods. The warranty applies to UK mainland only. Our warranty does not apply to wear and tear, or if product has been damaged or misused. Machines returned for repair in warranty where it is found the machine has been abused or has not been used as the machine was designed for will be charged for. This also applies where a machine has not been maintained properly including cleaning and descaling where applicable. Machine returned for U GROUP repair are not reassembled if on quotation you do not require the machine repaired. Loan machines are not available. U Group accepts no liability of whatever nature arising as a result of any representations, breach of contract, late delivery of product, negligence or otherwise including but not limited to any liability for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill except for liability for death or personal injury by U Group negligence. All conditions, warranties, guarantees and representations, express or implied, by statute, common law or otherwise in relation to the goods (other than any liability which U Group not permitted by law to exclude or restrict) are hereby excluded. Damages and Shortages If any order is received short or damaged, notification must be received in writing within 72 hours of delivery (to allow for carrier claims). Returns: 1) You will require a returns authorisation number to return any item from our catalogue. You must telephone us on 0121 764 6400 to be issued with authorisation number before returning goods. 2) Unrequired goods for credit will only be accepted within 10 days of invoice and must be in perfect condition and in original packing. After 10 days a 25% restocking charge will apply. No goods are accepted for return after 30 days. 3) Full purchase detail i.e. our order number, must be included on all returns. 4) All goods returned are at senders expense and responsibility. 5) No special items (non Stock lines) will be accepted back for credit. Credit Terms Strictly net 30 days from the date of the invoice. U Group may charge interest at 5% above the base rate of National Westminster PLC on any amount not received by the due date. The title of the goods will not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. We operate a policy of continuous product development and improvement and from time to time, may alter the specification of items shown in the catalogue. We reserve the right to change our prices without prior notification. All orders are subject to U GROUP trading terms and no other terms including customer purchase terms apply unless expressly agreed by U GROUP in writing.
