Sheila Wood (051 898616/085 8149922, kandswood@googlemail.com). Sheila graduated from Camberwell School of Art, 1970 with an Honours Degree in Fine Art, Illustration, Printmaking and History of Art. Sheila has taught & painted ever since working on a variety of different subjects in several media including oil on canvas, stained glass, pottery. Sheila was president of the Nottingham Society of Artists in the 1980s. She was commissioned by the Palace of Westminster in London to paint a Ceilidh in Celebration of the Millennium which now hangs there. She has exhibited regularly in open exhibitions in England and has had many solo exhibitions, group shows in Ireland & England. Sheila resides in Listrolin, Co. Kilkenny, 10 miles outside Carrick-on-Suir. Sheila exhibits in the Tudor Artisan Hub gallery year round.

Manyweather’s Studio - “From six years old to sixty, there is no such thing as being too

young or to old to learn to paint”, so says artist and teacher Mia Carney of her students from Manyweather’s Studio, in Kilcash. The collection of works displayed in the Clancy Brothers Festival are her artists’ favourite accomplishments thus far and show the talent that resides, sometimes hidden for years, in us all.

of Western Studios, Morton Street Day Centre and Haywood Lodge, in conjunction with the HSE and under the tutelage of local artist, Mia Carney. All works are available for purchase and commissions are welcomed. Laura Regan (086 8892373, dregan@bellair.net) Laura likes to paint landscapes and portraits using acrylics. Sketching people and animals is a favourite past time of Laura’s.
